Park city began as a mining town in the 19th century. There were many precious metals in Park City, such as silver, gold, and lead. By the late 19th centuray a huge fire scortched the town leaving it in ruins. The citizens of Park City began to rebuild the city. Soon after many people began to realize that Park City was a great place for winter sports. Soon there were three ski resorts Park City Mountain, Deer Vally, and Canyons. Which all three. are considered some of the best ski resorts in the country.
